I present you the Volvo V40 T5
with a R-Design finishing,
an elegant compact car with dynamic lines and in which
Volvo decided to integrate a great heart
a turbo five cylinders developping
254 hp with an automatic six speeds gearbox.
There are some sporty details in the outside of the car, such as the double exhaust,
the 18'' wheels or the rear spoiler so it is a good balance between sport and discretion.
The rear of the car keeps the Volvo heritage.
It is quite compact and squared but the overall is nice
while in the inside Volvo really gave everything.
The materials quality is very good, you get a digital counter and
the possibility to set it up with different colors
You also have this set up option on the steering wheel with three assistance modes: weak, mean or high.
That car is really comfortable. In regular mode,
it is even very comfortable
with a precise steering. In sport mode,
it really is agressive and that could be a plus but the throttle
is really too sensitive! Also si sport mode,
the five cylinders really has a good sound, a nice rumbling.
From a chassis point of view, you easily notice the rear axle is floating a little bit
at high speed and especially in the curves.
The very interest of that car is that is you get almost
undercover as its outside aesthetics, its refined lines, compared to the
Ford Focus ST as a sporty and showy example, are discrete.
You look at it and you do not think it's a sport car until you hear the engine roar
and you turn your head back on it.
