You can make it better by softening the calf. Push inwards using your thumbs, grip the muscle and pull it upwards.
2. Knee pain when just standing.
Above the knee cap, squeeze between the muscle and the bone, moving in one-centimetre increments
Achilles tendon and calf. 3. Knee pain when going up or down stairs,
taking a first step, or when putting weight on the foot
From the achilles tendon towards the bottom of the calf, squeeze and soften the muscles
It's good to repeat this two or three times

Loosen the outside of the achilles tendon, push upwards using your thumbs
